Engaging and gratifying, with a lot of excitement.

I received a copy of this book from Story Cartel, and I’m glad I did. Although the book was rather long, I read it all in one day, only stopping when I had to.

I was drawn to the characters and their stories – individually and as a couple. Their development was believable, and their flaws loveable. The author did an exceptional job at making them seem real.

There was a lot of drama throughout the book, all revealed at an enjoyable pace. I never felt overwhelmed by the action, and never bored with the inaction. It was a very satifying balance.

I was also drawn in by the secondary characters, so much so that I’m hoping this book is a part of a series. I’d liked to read the outcome of some of their stories.

I definitely recommend this book to romance lovers, and anyone else who enjoys a good book.

Rating system: Cups of coffee – the less the better

0: You won’t need any coffee to stay up for this one. It’s intriguing enough all on its own.
1: You’ll stay up late, but not all night. Brew one cup.
2: You’ll read as long as you’re not tired. If you are, two cups should do the trick.
3: I hope you got plenty of rest; you’ll need it, or at least 3 cups.
4: If the cable goes out, read the book. It’s better than nothing, I guess. Oh, don’t forget your brew!
5: Find anything else to do- doesn’t matter what it is. Don’t waste your coffee. Too much caffeine is bad for you.

My rating: 0 cups of coffee
