Left Feeling Some Type of Way
I like to call this my professional beta reading with all the extras. I take a look at the overall story and provide feedback on its strengths and weaknesses. A critique is a detailed letter outlining my professional opinion in regard to plot development characterization, pacing, hook, easy fixes, climax, conflict, and may ability to connect to the characters and clearly identify their goals and motivations. Unlike with an edit, I do not provide examples of how to improve.
