Sky Lacroux has finally realized her dream and opened her own tattoo shop in Provincetown, Massachusetts. She’s happy as can be, preparing the shop for its grand opening and renting a cottage in the Seaside community while renovations to her new apartment are being completed. The only thing missing is the one thing she longs for, and has no control over—love.
Sawyer Bass, a professional boxer, plays his guitar at a local bar to escape the painful reality of his father’s deteriorating health and a recent health warning of his own. But when he spots a stunning brunette across the room, escaping reality goes out the window, and the beautiful woman becomes the focus of his next song—and maybe even the rest of his life.
When Sawyer walks into Sky’s tattoo shop and sees the woman from the bar—Sky—the chemistry between them is instant. Sawyer is everything Sky could ever hope for in a man. He’s honest, loving, sensitive, and potently virile—but boxing goes against everything Sky believes in. The closer they become, the more she realizes that her alpha boxer is waging his own emotional battle—only the battle she thinks he’s waging isn’t the one that threatens to tear them apart.
Nights at Seaside is the sweet edition of the steamy romance novel Seaside Nights by Melissa Foster.

Review:
Nights at Seaside continues this steamy, sexy, fun-filled series with Earthy Sky Lacroux finding her love-match with boxer Sawyer Bass. Their chemistry is off-the-charts, and they are so perfect for each other that the swiftness of the relationship takes nothing away from the story. Instead if showcases Foster’s talent at getting to the point without sacrificing the relationship development. That is one of the many things I love about her stories.
Sky would prefer for Sawyer to make a career out of his other sharp talent – writing songs, but, although he’s been boxing since he was thirteen and it’s become a big part of who he is, it’s not the sport itself spurring him on to compete one final match. It’s the payout. His father is suffering from Parkinson’s and has no wish to have to enter a rehab facility, which will be inevitable if they can’t come up with the money for a private nurse to assist his mom at home. Sawyer’s closeness to his parents is heartwarming, admirable, and a true sign of unconditional love. His dedication, loyalty, and love for them almost brought me to happy tears. He’s so strong, yet sensitive, and his interactions with Sky further prove this point.
Sky is a sweetheart. I loved her in the other books, and now to have her front-and-center was a real treat. She’s laid-back and fun, and her non-nonsense, take-it-day-by-day attitude towards life is refreshing. I was drawn into her and Sawyer’s world, and as always, I was thrilled to reunite with the Seaside Girls and their mates. Each character is unique and the way Foster blends them together into the perfect family is marvelous.
There’s enough sexual tension and chemistry between Sky and Sawyer to heat the ocean a degree. But that attraction and their love is tested by a medical warning. These two are so perfect for each other and this story is so brilliant that I advise you all to give it a read to see how these two lovebirds work things out.
Rating system: Cups of Coffee (the less the better)
0: You won’t need any coffee to stay up for this one. It’s intriguing enough all on its own.
1: You’ll stay up late, but not all night. Brew one cup.
2: You’ll read as long as you’re not tired. If you are, two cups should do the trick.
3: I hope you got plenty of rest; you’ll need it, or at least 3 cups.
4: If the cable goes out, read the book. It’s better than nothing, I guess. Oh, don’t forget your brew!
5: Find anything else to do- it doesn’t matter what it is. Don’t waste your coffee. Too much caffeine is bad for you.
My rating: 0 cups of coffee
