Shawn Abrams is the author of The Seven Epaulettes of Leadership. He covers leadership and relationship as they relate to the our personal and professional lives. His first book, Leading in the First Person was an autobiographical work used to introduce his style of leadership. The Seven Epaulettes of Leadership contains more technical and practical teachings, primarily based on his success.
Abrams’ first experience with leadership was in the Army, where he served as a sergeant in the 82nd Airborne Div. After serving his country, he went on to serve his community in Brooklyn, NY. His work put him in partnership with multi-millionaires, shelter residents, prisoners, the disabled, youth, single mothers, ex-offenders, and community leaders. He acknowledges that his success comes from this faith in God and his mother’s life. She went from homeless to homeowner. She knew her potential was greater than her problems.
